Whiskey Sour

whiskey sour

3 parts Whiskey (Bulleit Rye), 12 oz.
2 parts lemon juice, pulp strained, 8 oz.
1 part simple syrup, or to taste (melt 1 cup turbinado sugar and 1 cup water), 4 oz.

Shake together all ingredients and pour over ice. Add a maraschino cherry.

Serves: 6
